Stephan Finds His Herd

Stephan came to Merrymac Farm Sanctuary as part of a neglect case. He was found with three other goats after state game wardens received a tip about neglected animals up the side of a mountain. Stephan and his friends were part of a “homestead” where they were no longer being cared for. Stephan was very thin when he arrived, with a body condition score of 1, and he also had pneumonia. Even with all of that, Stephan was incredibly sweet and friendly. Today he is up to weight and a valued part of the Merrymac herd.
