When you submit a story we collect the name you provide, your sanctuary name, the animal's story, any photos or videos you upload, and an email address so we can reach you about your submission.
Submissions are reviewed by our team to select monthly recipients of the Compassion in Action Fund. If your story is selected, we may share it on our website, social media, newsletter, and podcast, with credit to your sanctuary. We contact you before a story is published.
By submitting media you confirm you own it or have permission to share it, and you grant Better Life for Animals a non-exclusive license to use it for storytelling about the fund. You keep ownership of your images. Uploads are stored privately and only become publicly visible if your story is published.
Donations go to the Compassion in Action Fund so we can help more sanctuaries. Gifts are processed by Better Life for Animals through its donation page; we only receive the information needed to record and acknowledge your gift, and we never sell or share it.
We do not sell your information, share your contact details with third parties, or use your story outside of Better Life for Animals programs.
