The Farm Micro Sanctuary
Henrietta

Henrietta came to The Farm Micro Sanctuary as part of a hoarding rescue. At five years old, she had never received veterinary care and was living with severe arthritic changes in her legs that affected her ability to walk.
Her feathers were also damaged from roosters breeding her—something she was unable to escape from when she needed space.
Today, Henrietta’s life looks very different. She lives comfortably inside the house, rests on an orthopedic bed, receives daily pain medication and laser treatments to help keep her comfortable, and most importantly, she is loved.
Her story is a reminder of how much proper care, patience and compassion can change an animal’s life.
